The idea of traditional rural building culture where wooden structure was located on a stone base. We changed that into a modern appeal where base was made out of concrete, and it was exposed on the outside.
Small all-season house for a modern couple designed as place to run outside intense city life. private space to reenrgize, rest and work outside of an office.

site surrounded by a private forest located at the end of a road. Building is situated on a meadow with natural untouched greenery, often visited by forest animals. Our aim was to reduce human footprint to minimum and not interfere into ecosystem's life.

structure scheme

Very simple built technology keeps it easy and inexpensive. Concrete foundation base, wooden structure and curtain walls. Finally wooden facade with glazing to stay in traditional vibe with modern appeal.
